great hotel... sucky food

I went to Shangri-la hotel with a few friends today... thought the food would be great there coz well it is Shangri-la rite... besides... i had discounts so no harm trying rite lol... As soon as i reached Lemon Gardens (or something like that... its a restaurant in the hotel) i noticed something... no doubt the atmosphere is good, but the variety of food is so... blegh >.< We booked a table before we went so we were kinda grateful as the place had many many ppl... Now about the food.... I was so so so so dissapointed when i walked around the buffet area... i expected more but it was like erm.... u get the idea rite? so i walked over to the jap section.... then i looked... and looked... and look... the raw salmon was like...... really no comment... then the sushi looked nice so i took two to try... when i put it in my mouth..... the rice was so so so hard... then i had some oysters... then took a small crab and prawn... tasteless... totally tasteless and not fresh... then i headed over to the italian section, had some pasta... i guess it was ok... then i headed to the dessert part. I took lots of marshmallows lol then dipped it into the chocolate fountain, got some strawberries and did the same, then went over to the ice cream and cake.. that basically concludes the buffet... and mind u the original cost for an adult for this stupid buffet is RM90++... so totally not worth it rite... then after that... i drove back home... got a splitting headache so yea i kinda speed a little to cut the time taken home... then as soon as i reached home, i dropped down on my bed and slept, felt much much better after i woke up but i still have a headache la... then i had soup for dinner as i didnt wanna have a heavy meal, coz i predict i'm getting fever soon lol... then i'm now here :) love you darling muaks muaks <3
